01/27/08: The Chicago Tribune reports a large contingent of physical therapists and physicians are advising parents of the dangers of strap-in chairs and carriers that may contribute to misshapen skulls, contorted neck muscles, and delayed motor skills in infants. In the January 27 article, PTs recommend more "tummy time" on the ground in order for proper muscle development.
